Girls 2017 team

Our team

There are already 30 of us, and there's room for every girl who's excited about football!

Our team for girls born in 2017 is open to everyone, and we want to give them the chance to learn football in an encouraging atmosphere. At training we play games, learn a wide range of movement skills and get to know the ball. Our aim is for children to experience joy and success through sport. Sessions take place three times a week, and players can join as many of them as they like, on their own terms. Pakkala is a great place for girls to play football!

Welcome to the team!

Good to know

Info for new parents

Our team has a fantastic team spirit. Everyone who dreams of playing football is welcome to come and try out our training sessions! You can come along to training for two weeks to get to know us, after which we hope the player is hooked and stays on with our gang.

Team sport may be completely new to the parents of new players – and that's perfectly fine. The team managers, coaches and other team officials are happy to help and answer any questions. Once a new player decides to stay in the team, please get in touch with the team managers, for example at the side of the pitch, and we'll help your family get started.

You can get to know the team and what it does with a two-week free trial, no commitment required. All you need is sports clothing suitable for the weather, a water bottle, a size 3 ball and a cheerful sporting attitude!

How we work in the team

  • When a player joins, please register via the link below or get in touch by email.
  • Please note that players take part in the trial at their own risk, and the child is insured once you have confirmed in writing that they will continue in the team.
  • Here you can find more information on the membership fee and membership, and here general guidance for players: Membership, General guidance for players

Communication

Once registered, players can follow the team's training schedule in the myClub system. An account is created when you register. Invoices and club news also come through myClub. You can easily follow events and sign up for them, for example via the mobile app or the website.

We also use the team's WhatsApp group. So please ask to be added to the team's WhatsApp group when you join as a new player. You'll get the link from the team manager.

Please note! For planning purposes, it's important that parents/guardians let us know in the myClub app by 13:00 on the day of training whether the player is coming. It's easy and helps us make the sessions even better.

The team also has an Instagram account (@pps_t17), where you can follow the girls' joy of playing!

Kit

When you first come along to try out, sportswear, trainers, your own water bottle and a ball are all you need.

If you're new to the team, please contact the team manager before buying kit so that we can choose the player's own shirt number. The team manager will tell you which shirt numbers are available and share the club's kit guide.

The club's match and training kit can be ordered from Intersport Tammisto in store or from Intersport's online shop.

Fees

The team activity fee is paid once a month and covers, among other things, coaching and pitch fees and the team's tournaments. The team's monthly fee is 65€.

Other fees are the club's membership and annual fees and the Pelipassi (player licence), which are paid once a year. More information here.
