Let's Play Football Sisters

The club is open to all girls aged 9–12, and its aim is to make it easier to get started, especially for children and families who are not yet familiar with how sports clubs work in Finland.

Free club for girls aged 9-12

Vantaan Jalkapalloseura (VJS) and Pakkalan Palloseura (PPS) are launching the Let's Play Football Sisters project right at the start of the summer holidays, and the club runs throughout the summer holidays.

The club aims to offer a safe and encouraging environment for all girls, whatever their background.

Cultural needs have also been taken into account in planning the activities. For example, girls can take part in training in sportswear that suits their own beliefs. The sessions are led by female instructors, so that as many girls as possible can take part on their own terms.

The aim is to get girls with an immigrant background involved and to give everyone an easy way to start playing football. In this club you can play more freely: for example, you do not need to join a sports club or have football kit.

The sessions are coached by trained female coaches. The activities are led by Ella Hautakoski, who is also the lead coach of the T1011 team at PPS. Ella is supported by a group of experienced assistant coaches from both clubs.

There are two groups in two areas: the Myyrmäki group and the Kartanonkoski group. Training is on Mondays at the VJS pitch, 16:00-17:00, and on Fridays at Kartanonkoski, 16:00-17:00.

All you need is suitable sportswear and a water bottle. You can borrow a ball from us.

Training times
