In case of injury

Safety first - but in football, things happen. Football is a contact sport, and sometimes there are knocks or injuries on the pitch. That is why it is important that both players and parents know what to do if an injury happens. Below you will find guidelines for injuries, insurance matters and seeking treatment.

Change to the insurance claims process for the 2026 season

Due to rising claims costs, ADIS, as the claims handler, has put healthcare providers out to tender. As a result, new, lower contract prices have been agreed with Suomen Terveystalo, which will be ADIS's contracted medical centre for the 2026 season. Suomen Terveystalo was chosen because of its wide network of locations, competitive prices, high-quality facilities and skilled healthcare team.

If you have bought insurance cover through Pelipaikka and get injured

If you are injured, file an injury claim at www.ADIS.fi and seek treatment at a public healthcare unit or a Suomen Terveystalo clinic within 14 days.

Before your first doctor's appointment, remember to say that you are an insurance customer and give Suomen Terveystalo ADIS's name and your claim number, whether you book your appointment online or at the clinic reception. This ensures smooth treatment at the agreed prices.

Players may also use other clinics if they wish, but they must pay for the treatment themselves first, and compensation is paid afterwards up to the contract clinic's prices.
