Minna Marlo and Pekko “PeGe” Piirto are well-known freestyle artists in their sport, and we are delighted to have them run a brilliant camp at Kartsi right before school starts. PPS’s own coaches are also involved, including Suvi Miettinen, Abdi Yusuf and Maria Olin.

The camp is for girls and boys born 2012–2018. PPS players as well as players from other clubs can sign up. The camp focuses mainly on individual skills, so it suits players of all levels. Girls and boys (and older and younger players) are divided into different groups where possible.

Minna Marlo is a former top-league player who has played football for Honka and TPS. Through passionate training she has risen to the top of freestyle. She has competed at the World Championships and finished in the top 16 no fewer than three times. A sports instructor by profession, Minna is one of the pioneers of this still small sport in Finland and is active in Freestyle Finland, the sport’s umbrella organisation founded in 2017. She is also involved in the world governing body of freestyle football.
Pekko “PeGe” Piirto is a long-standing pioneer of Finnish freestyle football who has worked for the sport for 17 years. He has been a key figure in building the Finnish freestyle scene and developing the international community as a performer, event organiser and advocate for the sport. PeGe’s passion and dedication have made him well known both at home and abroad, and during his career he has trained several champions of the sport at the start of their careers. Today PeGe is also a familiar voice in Finnish football from behind the microphone: he is the stadium announcer for Ilves’s men’s first team and the Finnish women’s national team, bringing energy, atmosphere and a unique presence to the matches.

Camp prices include the camp programme, lunch/ packed lunch, excellent facilities and skilled instructors
Campers are not insured by the club.
